  शराब पीने वाले को सत्तर जन्म कुत्ते के भोगने पड़ते है । मल-मूत्रा खाता-पीता फिरता है। अन्य कष्ट भी बहुत सारे भोगने पड़ते हैं तथा शराब शरीर में भी बहुत हानि करती है। शरीर के चार महत्वपूर्ण अंग होते हैं। फेफड़े, लीवर, गुर्दे तथा हृदय । शराब इन चारों को क्षति पहुँचाती है।  शराब पीकर मानव, मानव न रह कर पशु तुल्य गतिविधि करने लगता है। कीचड़ में गिर जाना, कपड़ों में मलमूत्रा तथा वमन कर देना। धन हानि, मान हानि, घर में अशांति आदि मदिरा पान के कारण होते है। मदिरा सत्ययुग में प्रयोग नहीं होती । सत्ययुग में सर्व मानव परमात्मा के विद्यान से परिचित होते हैं। जिस कारण सुख का जीवन व्यतीत करते हैं। गरीब : मदिरा पीवै कड़वा पानी, सत्तर जन्म स्वान के जानी।
